Getting to work with rising star Julian Maroun on his red carpet look for the 2017 AACTA Awards was great fun. As the first major event the young star had been to we were challenged with creating him a look that both showcased his sense of fashion while also looking event appropriate which lead us to the decision of a modern update on a black tie styled suit. Working through ideas and colours we decided to stick with a traditional coloured suit with no embellishments or detailing but to style it with pops of ultra modern flair including a leather belt, matching shoes and an off-white shirt which further showcased the talents love for fashion and willingness to push the fashion boundaries. Stepping away from a traditional black suit we new that the risk factor was their but after working with Julian on a fitting and pre-show we knew we had a winning look that would both set him apart and allow for his fans to fully appreciate his fashion choices.

With two upcoming bodies of work, not to mention a feature film to come out soon we new the talented young man had to look ultra chic, with a blog new hair cut and facial hair trimmed the brand new looking Julian adorned himself in his hand tailored grey marle MJ Bale suit readying himself for what was to be one of the most noted walks of his life, his first big red carpet. As he entered the carpet immediately people were drawn to him as his fresh take on modern fashion was a point of difference everyone can relate to especially in the monotony of same old red carpet looks.

Take a look below at the stunning look we created for Julian Maroun as he takes to the red carpet for the 2017 AACTA Awards, and if you missed him their be sure to catch him on Stan early next year in his debut role in Romper Stomper or in Foxtel’s soon to come Fighting Season and see why his is a name you won’t soon be forgetting.
