Amusing guests state wide The Melbourne Festival is both provoking and inspiring. It brings together some of the city, state, nation and world’s best shows, artists and attractions while celebrating the magnificent world of the arts that this leading city that is oh so accustomed too. Seeking to connect art forms, people and ideas the 17 day annual event welcomes a range of musicians, actors, dancers, artists, comedians and a host of attractions in celebration of artistic freedom and eclectic eccentricity.
Curating unique experiences in the hopes to bring people together and to break new ground in culture and the arts the festival continually outshines itself and this year was no different reclaiming it’s title as one of the country’s leading International arts festivals! With a vast array to see and do this year’s highlights included “The House of Mirrors”, where guests were treated to a brain puzzling maze entirely made of mirrors, “Taylor Mac: In Conversation”, an informative look in to the world of The New York Times’ Damien Cave with the man himself & artists Ayoung Kim’s exhibition, an exhibition that mixes reality with fantasy leaving viewers hungering for the truth.
