This year I worked with Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Jamie Young on his red carpet look for the 2018 Dolan Warren medal hosted by the A-League. As a seasoned player and veteran of the game Jamie was quite easy to dress for this occasion as we sort through a few options and decided on one that was both dress-code appropriate and fitting for the occasion. In the lead up to the night there was much discussion about the possibility of the star goalie winning an award and as the day drew closer it looked more and more like that would come to fruition so whilst we had made the decision on which suit to go with we did make some last minute adjustments to make sure he was at the top of his style game.
After deciding to partner with French fashion house Pierre Cardin, known for it’s cutting edge style, we worked through a range of style, colour and cut options at their Myer showroom before deciding on a charcoal, a navy and a black slim suit that both complimented the talented players body colour and highlighted his keen sense of style. As we worked our way through the accessories and played around with colour combinations and chatted more about what we wanted the suit to say we finally decided on an option that he would wear that would keep him looking and feeling good throughout the ceremony.
If you didn’t see the talented Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Jamie Young walk the Dolan Warren medal red carpet with his stunning girlfriend then you truly missed out as he truly stole the show in a charcoal grey Pierre Cardin suit that complimented his partners red dress perfectly. To make things better he also took out the top A-League award for his position. Take a look below at the look he wore while walking the carpet and accepting his award.
