Taking over the seaside parklands of North Wollongong this years Yours and Owls festival showcased just why the picturesque landscape is one to be visited. Nestled between the hills and the sea the boutique festivals grounds year after year seems to grow and this year was no different as it’s two day non stop action saw hordes of fans enjoy some of the greatest musicians the continent has to offer.

Headlined by the likes of Golden Features, Amy Shark, Courtney Barnett & Hot Dub Time Machine and supported by Ruel, Vera Blue, Sneaky Sound System, Baker Boy, Frenzal Rhomb, Thundamentals and Meg Mac the festivals eclectic sound made sure they had something for everyone and no matter your genre of preference their was something new and innovative to discover no matter who you saw. From rock and roll to hip and pop, funk and jazz to electronic and indie fans were treated to a glimpse of Australia’s best in a weekend that won’t soon be forgotten.

If you didn’t get a chance to head along to Wollongong’s favourite shore-side party, Yours and Owls festival, then I suggest you make a point of putting it in your calendar for next year so you don’t have to be the one left out! Until then enjoy some of my favourite moments from the day that was below!
