Inside the halls of the Bondi Surf-Life Saving club’s upstairs blue room is where designer Karla Spetic chose to showcase her resort 19 collection in-front of a picturesque view of Bondi’s infamous and iconic beach. The MBFWA show started with a parade of delicate fabrics and sweeping shapes in hues of blues, whites and aquas. Playing to its strengths and drawing from the background those in attendance were lucky enough to get to see how the pieces would look on vacation as they watched the collection seemingly manoeuvre its way through the stunning Bondi location.
A bubble wrap-esque texture proved most frequent as the collection showed itself and provided a unique feature that marked the range as her 10th year statement. As the models strutted their way through it was evident that this collection was made for the frequent traveller whom spent her days deciding whether cocktails were better poolside or seaside and was used to show the luxurious life of holidaying abroad giving you a chance to dream from Positano to Miami and the Bahamas to the Maldives. Alongside a soundtrack of seaside sounds the glowing models glistened past with beach appropriate hair and a fancy new outfit to match and upon the completion of the runway women swooned as they decided which pieces they would be caught in this season.
