Adorned in all the colours of the rainbow the Sydney Opera House this past weekend played home to the inaugural Australian LGBTI Awards which celebrated and honored the people whom work tirelessly to advocate and positively promote the affluent gay community.

Timed to run in conjunction with Australia’s biggest gay & lesbian supported event, the Mardi Gras, the awards hosted by comedian Jackie Loeb not only played host to a platform for the community to acknowledge and reward outstanding people and companies but also gave a chance to reflect on what the community does for everyday Australians.

Starting with a moving speech from politician Clover Moore the production awarded 14 awards which saw a range of celebrities, politicians & everyday humans as well as companies win awards for their excellence in standing up for the LGBTI people.
