If you haven’t yet been to Planar Bar & Restaurant on Sydney’s iconic Darling Harbour then you are truly missing out on one of Sydney’s must see and do places. The one-of-a-kind waterfront destination boasts one of the best menus in the strip and while you may have walked past it’s doors I am challenging you to go in and be delighted as the eloquently knowledgeable staff cater to your every need. Located in the heart of the city, amongst the sweeping views of the harbour, the venue prides itself on its versatility by being able to cater to visitors and tourists who want a cafe styled menu and a long dinner while also catering to business minded people who need good food on the go at all times of the day. The stunning indoor and outdoor location brings to us an eclectic menu from around the world, a culinary journey through the five continents while focussing on that rich and true Modern Australian dining experience and from breakfast to dinner or coffee to cocktails the stunningly beautiful restaurant and bar has something for everyone.

As you relax in the decadent outdoor cabanas or inside tables the first thing you will notice, and be walked through, is the delectable menus. For those who know me well you’ll know I switch between being a vegetarian and vegan which is fine here as the brand has devoted time to a menu that offers options for those with dietary requirements as well as a specific vegetarian /vegan menu. From pumpkin risotto and duck ravioli to American pork ribs and Scotch fillet the menu truly does offer something for everyone no matter what your taste buds desire. Stone baked pizzas are a favourite and baked onsite from their Italian made oven and with 8 delicious flavours on offer I’m sure you’ll find a slice you like. Burgers are another favourite and with 5 options, pork, lamb, beef, chicken and vegan, I know there is one that you’ll now call your regular.

Whether it’s a relaxing weekend meal or an on-the-run weekday snack you need to get in and try Planar‘s delicious menu for yourself, and while you’re their treat yourself to a cocktail, you deserve it. Open all week long 7am – late get yourself in and try what they have on offer, after eating their this week I can tell you you won’t be disappointed and as you are taken away with the mesmerizing view of Darling Harbour you can send me a note to tell me just how much you enjoyed it.
