Yesterday I was given the honour of dressing Academy Award nominated and BAFTA winning screen writer Tony McNamara for his appearance at this years Oscar Awards where he was nominated for his hit movie The Favourite. The Australian superstar has has a string of hits and with his new movie being the talk of Hollywood it was no surprise that a string of nominations was to follow for himself and the production and with a BAFTA win just a few short days before we were all hoping that tonight would also be his night!
After chatting with the great man himself we decided that for this event a classically tailored MJ Bale tuxedo would work best and after putting a modern twist on the look with a self-tie bowtie and black customer buttons, a pair of black strobed brogues and tailored to his sizing we were off and ready to hit the red carpet for Hollywood’s night of nights.
If you’re yet to see what the talented Tony McNamara wore then take a look below at some of my favourite moments from him on the rd carpet with his stunning wife Belinda Bromilow, who was styled in Velani by Donny Galella. Although the accomplished screen-writer didn’t win the BAFTA definitely helped and I can’t wait t show you just what he will be wearing next!
