Synonymous with ethical, individual, luxurious fashion Roopa‘s newest resort collection showcased a updated version of her work deeply rooted in her already strongly footed values. Her newest range showcased yesterday at MBFWA showed those in attendance and indeed the world just why sustainable and ethical fashion should be at the forefront of their minds while telling us that luxury doesn’t have to mean waste. The brand’s vision is to respect the artisans and artists who create the works while giving back to them for creating something new, beautiful and yet unexpected. Female empowerment is an integral part of each garment, for women by women, whom have been named with traditional Nepalese names after characteristics women posses.

Each piece is designed with skilled craftsmanship and contains beautiful silhouettes and timeless embellishments that are handwoven and handmade created solely to allow women to empower women in the fashion industry. Using bold colours and prints the range highlights the beautiful struggle in life and indeed in fashion. Mixed print and pattern highlights a huge trend this season and allows you to see the colourfully eclectic woman whom would own these pieces. She’s quirky and fun, the life of the party and clearly commands the room when she enters.
