Typically speaking when you think women athletes you don’t generally think girly girl but after dressing Melbourne Football Club’s WAFL player Daisy Pearce for her appearance at this years Kennedy Oaks Day as part of the Melbourne Cup Spring Racing Carnival I will vow to never again make assumptions. While Daisy isn’t usually a girly-girl (her words) we had a great time getting to play dress ups and choose a number for her to feel elegant and sophisticated in for the always fashionable ladies day.
Choosing a flowery laced plum A-symetrical, bell sleeved, off the shoulder dress by Keepsake The Label we began to build her look around the exquisitely crafted dress. Highlighting the colour we fixed a small ankle problem by replacing heels for a pair of classically styled dull pink brogues by Bared Footwear and to match in with the flowery lace we added a simple bespoke white flower headband in place of a fascinator. Keeping up with tradition the blossoming beauty looked stunning as she made her way to Myer’s ultra fashionable marquee.
