This week I got to work with one of he most recognizable faces in the AFL and Perth’s golden boy Nic Naitanui on his two appearances at the Melbourne Cup Spring Racing Carnival. Attending both Kennedy Oaks & Emirates Stakes days I had the honour of making sure the lovable giant was as dapper as ever and race-day ready for his first trip to Flemington.
Starting with Stakes day we decided that the theme of colour must be adhered too and started with a simplistic grey checked suit and added hues of red and white through the tie and pocket square which were teamed with a traditional rose on his lapel. Topped off with some black dress shoes and silver bow-tie clip the look became a favourite of the day. For Oaks day we decided on a more demure with a timeless patterned grey suit that was elevated with a multicoloured blue tie and pocket square and light brown loafer styled shoes.
If you missed Nic Naitanui’s fashionable first time at Flemington then I have you covered below with a look at both his first outfits including that fan favourite!
