After revealing an additional location the vastly growing boutique music festival Grapevine Gathering played to two sold out crowds in both the stunning Melbourne winery region of Yarra Valley and the newly added Sydney winery region of the Hunter Valley over the past two weeks. Boasting a stellar lineup of local and international acts the show, which featured the likes of rapper Tkay Maidza, indietronica band Miami Horror and English rock band the Wombats, wowed crowds as they were treated to a day of wine drinking in the very regions that wine came from.
Joining this years line-up were a wealth of musicians who helped to keep the party rocking from start to finish and no-matter which location you attended the team behind the festival clearly thought about the right way to set up your party! American producer MK joined the party in Melbourne and made sure the tunes were flowing as did Lovebirds & The Jungle Giants whom gave the crowd what they wanted while over in the Hunter Brisbane’s own Young Franco joined forces with Adelaide’s Client Liason to ensure a day filled with boogies, sing alongs and momentous memories that wouldn’t soon be forgotten.
If you didn’t get a chance to catch either Grapevine Gathering show then I am telling you this festival is one to add to your calendars for next year! It’s incredible what the team behind it have accomplished in just 2 years and I’m ready to see what they’ll bring to us next summer when the festival returns. Take a look below at some of my favourite moments from the shows, and hopefully I’ll see you next November/December to party through the wineries.
