When Shania Twain first rose to stardom in the 90s it seemed their was nothing she couldn’t do. The country turned pop singer broke down barriers and fought the oppression to become the multi award winning and platinum record holding songstress that doubled as a sexy vixen / sassy on-stage diva we know and love today and after announcing her tour down under a few months ago I was silently waiting for my chance to see just why people all over the globe flocked to see her live! While I’d seen her rise to stardom on TV I never got to see her perform in person and after seeing snippets of her on-stage yesterday I got to see the fabulously entertaining boot-scooting singer for myself and I have to say I was a fan.

After years of being on the road and performing to sold out crowds the multi-faceted singer didn’t disappoint. From her grand entrance through the crowd, to her dancing solos and an intimate moment strumming her guitar in the middle of the arena the starlet seemed to pull out all of the tricks, and before you ask yes she even jumped on a moving power-power-box 30+ feet in the air! While she focussed on her newer songs she didn’t forget to play to her strengths and the set list incorporated a range of iconic tunes like From This Moment On, That Don’t Impress Me Much, I’m Gonna Getcha Good, Any Man of Mine & Man! I Feel Like a Woman.

If you missed out on seeing the beautifully talented Shania Twain in person then never fear I have you covered with a first look at her Melbourne concert below. If you missed out on seeing her then I can tell you you truly did miss one hell of a show and if you get the chance to see her play somewhere I would jump on it, it’s a night out you won’t soon forget, especially because by the end of it you’ll be up dancing and screaming along to her hits just like we were!
