Yesterday I was lucky enough to get to work with AFL player Jarryd Lyons and his groomsmen on the styling for his wedding day. I have to say I felt very honoured to be asked to help him come up with looks for what was undoubtedly the most important occasion of his life. Getting to work on the five looks was as challenging as it was rewarding but as we talked through options and looked through images we decide on a classic look that not only suited the dashing young groom but also worked well for his grooms party. After a little chat through dates, as we are based in seperate cities, the time came for our fitting and as each of the boys arrived it was hard not to feel the magic in the air.

We started with each of the groomsmen and walked them through a range of fits and colours to compliment and fit their sizing and colours and after all four of the party had been fitted we had a look that not only worked for each of them but also cohesively together with what the man of the hour himself would be dressed in. Playing around with options I walked the groom through two looks, a classic tuxedo and a classic black suit and as we played around with both looks it was clear to see that the tuxedo was a clear front-runner in both the style and fit departments. Deciding on the final suits we discussed accessories and shoes, opting for a tailored all-black look which he himself paired with a freshly bloomed rose lapel-pin that tied in nicely with his bow-tie and the groomsmen’s ties.

If you haven’t yet seen images of Jarryd‘s picturesque wedding or his stunning wedding day style then look no further! The grooms suit and day are captured below in some amazing photography and as you can see he was as smartly dressed as he is happy to be married. Pictured also below are the dashing four groomsmen who I am so proud to of dressed, they look super smart and ready to support the big man as he says hello to his happy ever after.
